Khloe Kardashian has given an interview with E! News, ahead of the season seven premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It is at least her third interview addressing her looks, and being called the “fat sister,” the “uglier sister,” even before the show came out.
Kardashian already addressed this during the 10 Most Fascinating People interview, where she said: “I was pale, I had blonde curly hair, I did not look like them. I got bullied my entire teenage life. People, you know, saying to me how I’m the ugly sister or… I’m the funny sister. That’s what people would always [say] like, ‘Oh, Kim, you’re gorgeous and Kourtney you’re this and [Khloe] you are so funny,’ [and] I’m like, ‘Thanks.’ [Also] the Internet can be so negative, they call me Shrek or an ogre; they’re awful to me.”
The 27-year-old explained that, on several occasions, her own mother called her fat although that was supposedly for the betterment of Kardashian’s career, “ She’ll say, ‘Oh, you’re a little too fat right now.’ If she were just my manager, I’d have fired her right then. You can’t talk to me like that,” despite claiming to have been “size six” this time last year.
And she told LOVE Magazine she’s called an “ugly” “fat” “transvestite” all the time: “I’m the fat one. I’m the transvestite. I have had those mean things said about me at least twice a day for the last five years. It’s horrible, you know? But I can brush that stuff off.”
And she’s saying the same thing to E!, because it’s the thing that makes her most sympathetic to viewers.
Kardashian said this morning: “I was called fat all the time. I’ve always been compared to my sisters, who are beautiful and who have always been. I feel like I was so attacked. [I was picked on because] I had to wear braces, I was overweight as a kid. Just for no reason. I’m called the fat sister… I’m called the ugliest Kardashian.”
However, she counters: “I’m proud of myself. I could break and go get all this plastic surgery and get my nose fixed and get lipo or do whatever, but I haven’t chosen to do that because I know I’m a great person. I’m pretty damn hot, if you ask me.”
