You’d think if you were a celebrity involved in an affair that you would have more common sense than to make out with your lover in your car. Either they are both complete morons or they wanted to get caught.
If you go back and look at photos of Kristen over the years, she has a deep sadness in her eyes and a tension in her shoulder/heart area, she always looks uncomfortable in her own skin, never truly happy or radiant. People who don’t believe they deserve happiness or a decent relationship will typically sabotage the relationship through bad actions to push away the decent partner.

In a way i agree. personally i love the twilight series because usually i hate reading and for once i found something i could really get into, mainly because it was about the fantasy genre and a true, pure, real concept that being about true relationships and real true love. And i know that people hate the series and thats fine its not for everybody. As well i was very shocked about the whole affair scandal mainly because i dolize the two because they are what many people could only dream about being (unreally georgous and well loved and known). For whatever reason this had accured and for whatever will come of the two is totally up to and between them. I can only just hope that in the end everybody will get what they deserve and what is best for them. And personally in my opinion if you really, truly loved someone you wouldnt do anything to hurt them you would only be honored or feel blessed to have found someone special. But unfortuately that is not a trait or moral that is highly common or even common anymore. :)

I don’t think this is for PR purposes, why will they apologize to their loved ones if they are not guilty about it – Snow White has passed already, the last installment of Twilight series is still a few months away and might even have negative impact on the series because of this “scandal”

Well, I’m not able to judge her, because I love and admire her, yeah, even if she did this. But actually I’m so dissapointed … I don’t know what to think, but do you know something? I wouldn’t get mad if Robert forgave Kristen, in fact, I’d be happy because that would mean they really love each other and this is just a big mistake that mustn’t repeat again.

I don’t think it is a PR thing. This is not good publicity for either of them at all! It is something that could have very negative consequences, not just in their personal life, but professional lives as well. I think these two let their hormones get the better of them and acted recklessly. A complete lack of respect for the ones that they claim to love so much. Very sad and disgusting.

Whoa, hold on – to all the people saying “it’s for PR”, I demand (DEMAND) to know for who? Who looks better because of this? This effectively kills any chance for another SWATH movie and I wouldn’t be surprised if it hurts Twilight’s bottom line. No one wants to go see Edward and Bella fight for their love when they know that in real life, Bella woulda just said screw Edward and Jacob and gone for Billy Black.
Actually it’s not that surprising…she did kinda the same thing with Michael Angarano after 2 years of being in a relationship with him..she left him for Rob. I love her as an actress, but this is just disappointing and disrespectful.

Why are people surprised that Hollywood actors have affairs? Normal people have affairs all the time! Hollywood stars get caught out because they are surrounded by photographers. Kristen & Rob are young, rich and absurdly good-looking – the chances of this having been a long-lasting thing was so little. Once the furor of Twilight had died down they would have gone their separate ways. All the little TwiHards need to accept it and move on. Bella and Edward are characters in a book and onscreen. Rob and Kristen are normal human beings and will live their lives mistakes or no mistakes. I can’t imagine Rob will be single and lonely for long.
To me you can see how Kristen and Rob’s relationship blossomed over time. Eye contact, body language, smiles. I think it’s been genuine. Kristen is 22 and I’d venture to say, emotionally immature. She sort of grew up with Rob. Maybe she’s not ready to commit. And why should she? She’s got the world at her feet! HOWEVER, there is NO excuse or “explanation” that can explain or justify her behavior. Integrity, honor and trustworthiness are more than concepts. Behavior must reflect those beliefs. If Kristen is not ready commit or be monogamous (emotionally counts) with Rob or anyone, the KINDEST thing she can do is be direct with him. I hope she really thinks about it and I hope Rob has the strength and conviction to go forward and not “try to make it work”. For example her next movie is with another chiseled Brit, Alex Pettyfer. Would Rob need to worry? He needs time for his heart to mend and then find someone with the same values and consideration. Regarding Rupert? He’s a selfish, lying pig/twit and knows better! Cheating behavior is NEVER about someone else, e.g., “she doesn’t understand me”, “she focusses on the children”, “it was just a fling”, etc. It’s always about the shortcomings, narcissism and lack of integrity of the person cheating.
