Sofia Vergara has a photo shoot and interview in the issue of Vanity Fair covered by succubus Angelina Jolie. Vergara’s photos are prettier than Jolie’s in this issue. At least, they’re softer and the lighting/ composition of the photos are better. And they’re styled where Jolie’s just a floating head with no neck on her cover. Vergara’s styled with very little, but she’s styled. She’s wearing dresses that barely cover her ample chest and she’s wearing some kind of feather boa thing that probably isn’t actually clothing. The leopard print bikini’s probably the nicest outfit. And what looks like a single hair and make-up look works well across multiple set-ups and it’s softer and cuter than is usually plastered on her.
There’s no real interview with Vergara. It’s mostly the photo shoot and a shell of a profile that sits next to pretty pictures. That’s odd, right? They had her for the shoot and yet Vanity Fair couldn’t nail an interview? The month they interviewed Jolie? The profile’s a miss, if only because it reads as a dry listicle of shills, mentioning each company she’s representing at the moment, and a promotion of her personal Twitter. Yawn.
