Kristen Stewart “Relieved” Twilight Is Complete; Would “Never” Do Cosmetics Campaign

September 18, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Kristen Stewart covers the German edition of Glamour Magazine October 2012. For which there are soundbites about her roles in On The Road and Twilight. The latter of which is getting more play, today, because its promotional trail may force together the sympathetic male lead and his cuckold.

Inside the issue, Stewart, 22, says she’s “relived” to have completed Twilight the franchise because it’s been a big commitment and time sink and she seems to much prefer the experience of indie movies. And she’s calling out the dilettantes of the industry, again, because she’s just sooo real.

On the end of Twilight: “I’m relieved. Not that it’s finally over but that we told a story from beginning to end. A story I and all my colleagues invested a lot of energy in. I lived in the Twilight world for about four years. That’s a very long time that demands a lot of patience on your part.”

On how she survived the grueling schedule: “Thank God, I had the opportunity to do smaller movies like The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys, and On the Road in between [shooting the Twilight films]. Otherwise I’d probably have turned mad.”

On the industry being littered with dilettantes: “I would never work with people who aren’t really creative and aren’t committed to what they do,” she told the magazine. “Unfortunately, there are a lot of those people out there, they are f**king everywhere, and they try to suck the soul out of you. For example, I would never do a makeup campaign, even though the [final] photos with me would probably look good. Thank you, but it doesn’t interest me.”

On her life right now: “I notice that, at the moment, I am in an immensely intense phase of my life. It feels like I could burst from all my energy any minute now. And I don’t want this fire burning inside of me to go out.” – via Glamour Germany Magazine.
