This Again: In Touch Weekly Says “Absentee” Scott Disick’s Daughter Doesn’t Recognise Him

Over the summer, in what has already been revealed as a plot device worked in to Kourtney & Kim Take Miami because there’s nothing genuinely interesting going on with them right now, Life & Style Magazine and In Touch Weekly Magazine would basically alternate weeks with their smear campaign against Scott Disick. Whom they’ve decreed an absentee father who chose partying, women, drink, and drugs over his young family. Moreover, the tabloids insist that Kourtney Kardashian is a glorified single mother who’s had little-to-no help from Disick since the birth of their second child (and, yet, she clearly wants more babies with him). And, in late August, ITW claimed Kardashian kicked Disick out, she’s been living single, and Life & Style suggest she’s headed for a breakdown.
These stories are persistent but aren’t supported by much. They’re filler on slow news weeks and they’re basically publicity, contrived drama, ahead of the upcoming Miami spin-off.
Here’s a teaser from the story: On the outside, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick appear to have the perfect family. But sadly that couldn’t be further from the truth. “Scott is never around,” a Kardashian family insider tells In Touch, adding that Scott is so concerned with his own life that he rarely makes time for his kids. “When he is around, Penelope cries a lot. She barely recognizes her own father.”
The cover says: “Kourtney’s Pain: My Baby Doesn’t Recognise Her Dad. The moment her world changed forever. Kourtney’s horrible realisation that Scott is a total stranger to Penelope.” Note: none of those are first person quotes from Kardashian.
