Bethenny Frankel Files For Divorce From Jason Hoppy; Issues A Statement On Twitter

There have been many rumours about the separation of Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy. Most of those rumours were about Hoppy being insecure about his wife’s success and also feeling resentful at not being head of his household. Moreover, they were reportedly living separate lives for months before confirming their intention to separate.

Sources went on to claim that, despite the couple’s problems, Frankel and Hoppy would have a trial separation with the intention to reconcile. However, it would appear that those reports were either untrue or the couple could not work things out because it’s only two weeks later and Frankel has filed for divorce.

She filed in New York early last week and she confirmed on Twitter this weekend.

On Saturday, she wrote: “To those of you who are being supportive: thank you. To those of you who are judging: I totally get it.”

According to Us Weekly Magazine, the couple is still living together with no immediate plans for Hoppy to move out in order to protect their daughter.

Frankel and Hoppy reportedly have a prenup and allegedly there’s a postnup to protect the money she made from Skinny Girl.
