Surprising no one, Kourtney Kardashian’s baby girl Penelope Scotland Disick’s photo covers her first tabloid cover within a month of birth. The only thing is Kardashian, 33, traded up from Life & Style Magazine on which she debuted newborn Mason Dash Disick back in December 2009 to Us Weekly Magazine who probably paid more. For that cover too, years ago, Scott Disick was left off the cover (think Kim Kardashian’s People wedding cover without her husband).
Penelope Scotland Disick was born this time last month, July 8, soon after which the family and E! News offered reations to the birth. Explaining the meaning of the name: “While Kris Jenner says the new parents named the girl Penelope because they just liked the name, we’re told her middle name is a reference to her father, Scott.” The reveal took so long because, obviously, Us Weekly spent the interim weeks outing Kristen Stewart as a cheater and parsing the fallout.
But now the newborn covers Us Weekly Magazine with her mother and brother. The cover says: “Exclusive Photos: My New Baby. Kourtney opens up about her first days home with Penelope and how Scott’s stepped up as a dad (but still hasn’t changed a single diaper).”

Born July 8 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces, Penelope joins big brother Mason, Kardashian’s first child with Scott Disick, her boyfriend-of-six-years.
Gushes the ecstatic second-time mom (who shares her new Us Weekly cover with sleepy Penelope and a beaming Mason): “Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her.”
