MTV’s Buckwild Cast: Anna Davis Says Buckwild Doesn’t Make West Virginia Look Bad!
December 9, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Another member of MTV’s Buckwild, which will premiere January 3, is Anna Davis.
According to her MTV bio, she’s ”The Ringleader”: “Even though she comes from the ritzier part of town, Anna would rather spend her time getting dirty with the crew down in the creeks and hollers. She’s a true wild child at heart who finds herself at a crossroads in life trying to decide between work and school. One thing is for certain: Anna isn’t afraid to stand up for herself.”
Her Twitter bio says: “Reality show cast member of #BUCKWILD .. I live the craziest life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
On her Facebook fan page, Davis says Buckwild’s negative media coverage so far is undeserved. She insists it’s too early to judge, and people should give it a chance. December 4, she wrote: “LOLing at the CNN news report about the show. I really don’t remember us ever saying this is what every kid in WV does? It’s simply what we do to have fun because WV gets pretty damn boring!” Basically, she says they’re not bad kids, just looking to have some fun (that’s not what locals said while MTV were filming).
Davis continued, also on December 4: “To everyone who is skeptical about the show… I have been hearing people say ‘WV is nothing like this’ ‘So embarrassing!’ ‘No one acts like this!’ …First of all, you have all seen 2 minutes of the show. 2 minutes! Secondly, not only does it show mud fights, sling shots, and abnormally large tire rollings, but it also shows relationship drama, friendship drama, misunderstood fights, and love! I understand not everyone around the world does the first few things i mentioned, but i’m willing to bet my left arm that every single one of you have gone through the other things at some point in your life. We all are a family and no matter what anyone says about us, it won’t break the bond we have. We have gone through so much within the last year and STILL remain best friends who would do anything for each other. Now, remind me…how does that make WV look bad?”
Here’s Davis’ Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook fan page, where you can follow her and get updates when the show airs. And here are some of her social media photos.
