Report: Lindsay Lohan Avoiding Financial Problems On A Boy Band Tour Bus
December 10, 2012 by Coco Liberty
Lindsay Lohan has latched herself onto her next victim: Max George from The Wanted.
She has been travelling as a groupie on the boys’ tour bus all around the country. And even though Lohan has been to rehab several times and is facing jail time for breaking probation on her jewelry heist case, she’s partying it up with the band members and avoiding the reality of her consequences.
George tells The Huffington Post: ”Yeah it’s fun [having Lindsay on tour]. She’s a good girl. I love that she can party nearly as hard as we can. We had a big night on the bus where Ed Sheeran came on with us and a few of our mates as well, and we just had one big party. It was great! I suppose we’re all good mates already, so I hope that lasts. She’s cool. I’m sure she’s got people around her that know her much better than we do. We’re probably not the best influence, to be honest.”
George admits that he’s not the best influence and that he’s not responsible for Lohan’s actions. He knows she’s on a train towards destruction. However, musicians won’t stop the party for one groupie. Lohan is obviously obsessed with George because she was allegedly willing to punch another woman in a NYC nightclub for even talking to him. She isn’t making any attempts to restore her career after Liz and Dick and who knows whether George is even that into her.
In addition to being a boy band groupie, Lohan also faces financial problems with the IRS and her landlord. Lohan is struggling to come up with the $8,000-per-month rent for her Beverly Hills mansion. Maybe The Wanted will let her crash on their tour bus instead.
TMZ reports: “According to our sources, Lindsay has been scraping together the money to pay her $8,000 rent. We’re told Lindsay signed the lease on the home back in February when her career was on the upswing and the money seemed to be rolling in… [but] when Lindsay’s finances took a turn for the worse (like when the IRS seized her bank accounts) she began doing whatever she could to make rent each month, often hitting up friends for money. Lindsay tried to get out of the lease and move out early, but we’re told the owners of the home told Lindsay the penalty for breaking the lease was massive. So Lindsay is making it work until the lease is over in February and [she] is telling friends she’ll then look for a place in New York.”
Lohan should be focusing more on her finances, legal problems, and career instead of riding the coattails of a boy band. At worst, she should be enjoying the home she can barely afford instead of cramming in with five boys and their entourage.
