Justin Bieber On The Today Show Denying Mariah Yeater’s Allegations

Justin Bieber was on The Today Show this morning where he was asked about the allegations covering Star Magazine that losing his virginity in 30-seconds to three-years-his-senior Mariah Yeater resulted in a baby.
Yeater claims Bieber did some flattering, smooth-talking then degenerated to dirty talk before someone (probably) raped someone.
Oh, that.
There are conflicting reports, but 90% of today’s Bieber coverage is dissecting who may have raped or statutory raped whom.
It’s hard to get into that, as Yeater’s not specifically calling rape in her lawsuit. Instead, she’s suing for a paternity test and child support with her lawyer clarifying: “She is not seeking exorbitant compensation. She merely requests that Justin Bieber provide a DNA sample to verify that he is the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby, and if so, to help provide child support as required by California law.”
But some outlets are saying sources heard her yelling ”He’s raping me!” during their encounter before she was ditched for reporting it to security. And there are unsubstantiated claims that “[There aren’t] any pictures from after the concert… [A reporter allegedly] contacted his friend who was the photographer at the event, and he said he was paid $200,000 by Bieber’s handlers for pictures of the singer after the October 25, 2010 Los Angeles Staples Center concert covered with sweat, his t-shirt ripped and his hair out of place.”
Again, not substantiated.
Moreover, LAPD Commander Andrew Smith reports Yeater could, technically, be charged with the statutory rape of Bieber based on her reports alone (since she swore on the statements she made and filed in court).
…the 20-year-old woman who filed a paternity claim against 17-year-old pop star Justin Bieber, could be the target of a police investigation, as their alleged Staples Center bathroom tryst in 2010 would qualify as statutory rape.
The California penal code stipulates that any sex between someone over 18 and under 18 constitutes statutory rape.(Yeater was 19 at the time; Bieber 16, and allegedly a virgin.) If the difference in age between the two is under three years, it’s a misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail. – via Gawker.
Bieber’s been issuing vague non-denials and girlfriend Selena Gomez has been seen smiling as usual since the story broke. So she’s not sweating it. He wrote on Twitter just after the story broke, and after his rep issued an actual denial, ”Im going to ignore the rumors…and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!”
He continued, on The today Show, ”I’d just like to say that none of those allegations are true. I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim. It’s crazy, because every night after the show I’m gone right from the stage right to my car. It’s crazy that people want to make up such false allegations, but to set the record straight none of it is true.”
** UPDATE: Yeater’s lawyers have run to the media. This should be fun. They were interviewed for Dr Drew/ CNN where they claimed to have more evidence, supporting Yeater’s story.
** UPDATE 2: Yeater was allegedly going to give her baby up for adoption.
“She didn’t know if she was going to keep him,” Samra Fae Stepper told The Post at her Fredericksburg, Va., home, where Yeater holed up while pregnant for several months last spring. “We kept asking about the father, but I didn’t press it,” said Stepper, whose brother Anthony Simeonoff is Yeater’s stepdad.
Stepper’s mom, Frances Wilson, said, “I did ask her if she was going to keep the baby. She said she didn’t know. I don’t think she knew until almost when the baby was born.” Wilson said Yeater had told her, “I’m pretty sure I know who he is,” referring to the father. “But she said she wasn’t going to tell him.” – via Page Six.
** UPDATE 3: Yeater has allegedly made baby daddy claims before. Ugh. Of course she has. According to TMZ.com, Yeater claimed her ex-boyfriend was the father, before accusing Bieber.
The woman who claims Justin Bieber fathered her child made the exact same allegation to her ex-boyfriend last year, this according to her ex-BF’s grandmother.
TMZ spoke with Frances Lippe, who tells us Mariah Yeater had been dating her grandson John Terranova in Las Vegas toward the end of high school.
Lippe says Yeater came to their home in December 2010 and told Terranova she was pregnant with his child. He insisted he did not get her pregnant. The two got into an argument and police were called… because Yeater allegedly broke a car window out of rage. Later that day, according to the police report, Yeater returned to the home to work out a payment plan for the window and got into another altercation with Terranova and allegedly slapped John [three] separate times in the face with her open right hand.
Yeater was arrested and charged for battery. A court date has been set in Vegas. Lippe tells us after the altercation, they never heard from Yeater again. – via TMZ.
