Kim Kardashian’s Outrageous Gifts to Kanye West
July 1, 2013 by Emma Reynolds
Kim Kardashian’s public image appears only skin deep but, according to Kanye West’s tweets, the Father’s Day gifts he received from Kardashian proved to be more sentimental than one would imagine. The couple, who aren’t yet married, but just welcomed daughter, were able to celebrate Father’s Day together in the hospital, following the birth.
Father’s Day, which occurred on June 16, was one day after North’s birth. Conveniently enough, West received the best Father’s Day gift: his first child. Although he received the best Father’s Day gift a dad could receive, Kardashian also gave him an irreplaceable gift.
“One of the other gifts my girl gave me for fathers day,” West Tweeted, accompanied with a picture of two Apple computer mice signed by the company’s founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. These gifts seem virtually impossible, considering Steve Jobs himself has passed away. But Kardashian was able to speak to Wozniak herself to make a personal request for her boyfriend’s gifts.
A recent interview with the New York Times revealed West’s admiration for the late Apple founder, Jobs. He said that one day he hopes to be as influential as him and hopes that his name will mean as much to the music industry as Jobs did to the business world, the computer, and the Internet. Kardashian knew how influenced West was by the two Apple founders that she took it upon herself to gift him with one of the most sentimental things she could think of.
After all, what do you get for the man who has everything?
