Singer, actress and entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez has made her impression on Hollywood permanent. Lopez was awarded the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday.
The 43-year-old was surrounded by friends and family at the ceremony, including her twins Max and Emme and boyfriend Casper Smart. Also in attendance were Pitbull and Lopez’s Monster-in-Law co-star Jane Fonda.
“In my opinion, she’s only scratched the surface in what she’s capable of,” Fonda told CBS.
JLo, who got a little teary during the ceremony, said, “This landmark moment inspires me to work harder and dream bigger for all that is the future.”
The former American Idol judge has been known for some risque fashion choices (see 2000 Grammy dress) in the past, but she went old Hollywood glam for this special moment. She donned a full Dior skirt for the occasion.
Keenan Ivory Wayans and Gregory Nova, director of Selena, were also there to share in Lopez’s special moment. Lopez cites Wayans as the reason she moved to Los Angeles and Nava put her in her first film.
