REPORT: Is Melissa Gorga A Lesbian?

As discussed in a Real Housewives of New Jersey episode a couple of years ago, there are ongoing rumors about Melissa Gorga being a closeted lesbian. The rumours have taken another turn, though, now that her supposed former lover has gone to the media.
According to PerezHilton.com, Jamie Bauer claims to have been in a full-blown relationship with Gorga in their younger years.
Bauer also gave a detailed account of her connection to Gorga. They allegedly met when they were in high school and had an intimate relationship for a year-and-a-half. The couple apparently kept their status a secret from Gorga’s mother and pretended to just be friends.
“We managed to keep our relationship a secret from her mother for several months… even though I was often sleeping with Melissa in her bed at her home,” alleges Bauer, who adds that the love affair waned when Gorga moved on to another woman.
Is Bauer making up stories, or is there truth behind this rumor? She could easily be searching for her 15-minutes of fame, and we may never know the truth. Gorga will probably be speaking about this situation on the next reunion of Real Housewives.
