Farrah Abraham Guilty DUI Case: Will Be Sober for Six Months
June 8, 2013 by Mike Siegel
If you thought things couldn’t get worse for this Teen Mom, you’re wrong. TMZ has reported that Farrah Abraham finally pleaded guilty to driving under the influence back in March. It would be surprising for anyone to actually be surprised by that result.
The 22-year-old reality television star was arrested in March in Nebraska for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Now, you can put all the allegations aside. Abraham, who recently got prosecutors to give her a plea deal instead of jail time, now has a probation sentence of six months and has to pay a $5,000 fine. She also has to get an ignition interlock device installed in her car, which requires drivers to take a breath test before being able to start the vehicle’s engine. Thank God for modern, fancy technology.
TMZ also reported that Abraham was first charged with “disorderly conduct and refusing to take a field sobriety test.” The 22-year-old got the charges dropped as a part of her plea deal. Good for her.
Those six months may be tough for Abraham, as the judge ordered her to not drink any alcohol during her probation. Shocker…or is it? After it was released that she had made a sex tape, could you really doubt she would get into more trouble? The reality television star is clearly living her adolescence up to its fullest, but let’s not forget that she is still a mother. Let’s not forget that her kids need someone mature and responsible to look up to. Hopefully her children don’t get too involved in all of this mess.
