Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra Don’t Know The “Friend” Who Lied To ITW
June 21, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Following on from the tabloid cover on which In Touch Weekly lied about Teen Mom’s Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra expecting another baby, Lowell says she doesn’t even know the “friend,” Jamie Pyrzewski, 26, who quotes whole phone conversations in the story. Hours after the ITW story broke, Lowell issued a denial repeated on the cover of this week’s Us Weekly Magazine.
And here’s a little more on the real story, as Lowell explains that she’s not going to get pregnant for years because it would be unfair to the baby she had adopted, and she wants an education and a career, and she wants to experience life before becoming a mother again.
She told Us Weekly of losing 20 lbs for her July 13, 2013 wedding in Olde World Canterbury Village, a 21-acre historical landmark in Lake Orion, Michigan: “We’re getting married next year and I don’t want to be big and huge in my wedding dress.” She continues: “I’m still waiting on my degree, and want to get married… and be married for four years… and make some memories ourselves before having kids.”
The couple wrapped filming of season four of Teen Mom, although there’s a chance they’ll let MTV film the wedding for a special episode: “I really, really want my fans to watch me and Tyler say our vows.”
She says of untrue tabloid reports like ITW’s: “I just laugh because I’m like, ‘Okay people, believe whatever you want,’ but in four months when a baby’s not popped out, you’ll know I’m not pregnant.” But people close to Lowell do believe the lies, and she talks them off the ledge: “[The ITW pregnancy story] was in my face when I woke up. I had to call Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa, because they freak out when they see those kinds of things… So I told them, ‘Hey, guys, don’t worry about this. It’s a lie.’”
And Lowell has no idea who started the rumour or why: “I honestly think somebody just wanted to try to get some money and thought they could make up a huge lie. I never heard [of named source “Jamie Pyrzewski”] before in my life! So I’m pretty sure somebody must have given the magazine a fake name… But it’s kind of dumb to make up stuff that isn’t true.” Moreover, she’d be a “miserable wreck” if she fell pregnant and disrupted her plans, again, she continues: “I don’t know when I’ll be ready. Not anytime soon.”
