Bethenny Frankel Is Furious At Staff For Leaking Stories To The Press

Bethenny Frankel has been all over the web this week, first for sending a couple of lowball offers to Alex McCord and Jill Zarin to appear on her show (which they declined), and then for reportedly forcing NeNe Leakes to appear on her show or else risk not having a chance at appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show in the future.
Needless to say, all the attention hasn’t been positive and now, Bethenny is pointing fingers at her staff who she seems to think are responsible for leaking stories.
“Bethenny was seeing red and accused her staff of leaking the stories to the press. It’s not a very happy place to work these days. After all of the hard work Bethenny’s staff has done to make the show a hit, she accuses them of going this route,” an insider told Radar Online. “These are very respected professionals that have worked in the business a very long time, unlike Bethenny. She has vowed to find out who the leak is, and has even threatened legal action if she can prove one of her people betrayed her and went public.”
Shortly after the news of Alex and Jill’s offers to appear on the show as part of a Real Housewives of New York reunion broke, Alex took to her blog for The Stir where she hinted that someone had leaked details from their conversation. ”Radar Online somehow got hold of a few private conversations held last week between me, Bethenny Frankel, and Jill Zarin,” the said, adding, “I wonder how …”
Still, the insider doesn’t seem convinced that it was Bethenny’s staff who leaked the information, citing their background as reason to think that something like that wouldn’t happen.
“Many of Bethenny’s staffers were plucked from Ellen’s show and production team. They were treated extremely well and professionally. Ellen is one of the kindest and most genuine people in the business, whereas Bethenny is just the opposite,” the insider explains. “She is rude to staffers, expects a lot, and doesn’t even have the courtesy to say thank you to her hard working team. There is now a lot of in-fighting going on, which is never a good sign for a freshman talk show.”
