Jenelle Evans’ Husband Courtland Rogers Relapses On Heroin — And It’s Filmed
October 11, 2013 Gossip by Lindsay Cronin
Courtland Rogers, the husband of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, has struggled with drug use for years. But after getting out of jail a couple of months ago, he had been tweeting about his sobriety and telling fans that he was participating in Narcotics Anonymous. According to his tweets, he was as happy as he’d ever been and loving his new sober life. However, last week, video footage surfaced of Courtland preparing to do drugs alongside his baby mama and ex-girlfriend, Taylor Lewis.
After the videos were posted online (by Jenelle), Courtland claimed they were made to sell, and that he didn’t actually do the drugs, despite what he said in the clips. Still, fans had their doubts and last night, Courtland finally came clean, telling his Twitter followers that he had relapsed.
Then, this morning, Radar Online revealed that they had been approached to purchase video of Courtland’s drug use by Courtland himself which he shot last night in North Carolina. While the site declined to buy what they referred to as a “sickening” clip, they did detail the commentary on their site.
“I did relapse, see all my track marks,” Courtland tells the camera. “Now I am officially high as hell.”
In the clip, Courtland seemingly brags about his drug use, even showing the camera his bag and walking his viewers through the process. “This is what the bags look like that I am about to do,” he says. “They come in ‘Star Track’ bags in the light you can see the dope at the bottom. That’s heroin. This is me relapsing right now as we speak.”
Courtland was set to enter rehab just hours before the video was shot, so it is unclear at this point if he ever made it — but his 2:00 am tweets certainly aren’t a good sign.
After hearing about the tape, Jenelle weighed in on the news, telling Radar, “If he does go it would surprise me if he actually completed it. He is so concerned about being f**ked up constantly. He told me himself he can’t live life sober, guess it’s too boring for him.”
If Courtland doesn’t enter rehab, he could be facing some serious jail time since he’s currently on probation stemming from his and Jenelle’s heroin arrest this past April.
