When Will Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner get a divorce?
Previously, Kris Jenner’s sister, Karen, broke the news that Kris and Bruce were no longer together. That story, in In Touch Weekly, predated Us Weekly’s exclusive by a clear week. The couple issued a joint statement to E! News, and Kris gave an exclusive cover story to Us Weekly… although it had been months since Bruce moved out in June. Then came the denials; Rob says there’s no “bad blood”, and Bruce says there will be no divorce any time soon.
Since the family signed a $40 million deal for three more seasons of their flailing reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, back in 2012, although it’s rumoured Bruce doesn’t want to film the show anymore, he HAS to film at least one more season. Which takes us into season nine. As such, Kris is already trying to bolster poor ratings with this stunt 1) because the show needs it 2) to deflect from Khloe’s problems with Lamar. Some stunts she has planned: splitting up with her husband, in front of her kids, on-camera, a staged reconciliation, and making the split a major plotline in season nine.
Then, in 12 months, once their current contract expires, Bruce allegedly wants out of there to spend more time with his older sons, Brody and Brandon, Kris will revert back to being Kris Kardashian and they’ll probably to get divorced.
“Bruce and Kris will file for divorce but not until the current contract for the shows comes to an end,” says a source. “No one would watch if there wasn’t drama, separation leaves it up in the air and will make viewers want to tune in. But once it’s over, it will be over for the marriage too — once and for all.” Filming will end in 2014, and the show will finish airing 2015.
“Kris thinks a long drawn out separation will keep viewers coming back for more and the show needs it, at the moment,” adds the source.
