Paul Nassif To Star In New Reality Show About Plastic Surgery
Paul Nassif has just settled his divorce and is ready to start fresh. The plastic surgeon and his former wife Adrienne Maloof, with whom he starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, split last summer but had been battling over the custody and co-parenting of their children for several months. Finally, last month, the couple reached an agreement, and now, Paul is on to bigger and better things — starting with a new reality show.
“The show, which is currently untitled, will feature regular people,” a source reveals to Us Weekly. “It will center around ‘revision plastic surgery’ — or plastic surgery that was botched and needs to be redone.”
The series will air on E! and for Paul, it won’t be his first go-around on the network. He also appeared on several episodes of E!’s Dr. 90210, an hour-long series which began in 2004 and was based on the plastic surgery of Beverly Hills’ most wealthy patients and the lives of the doctors who operate on them. The show aired until 2008.
As for Adrienne’s future in reality television, she doesn’t seem to have nailed anything down — at least not yet. After failing to attend the season 3 reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was reportedly fired from the show and while she was rumored to have landed a show on NBC earlier this year, nothing seems to have come of it.
Although Adrienne may wish to return to television one day, she claims to be perfectly happy not being involved in the drama-filled Bravo series any longer. “I’m happier that I’m off the show,” she told Life & Style last month. “I don’t miss the cattiness or the below-the-belt cheap shots.”
