EXCLUSIVE Marisa Zanuck Is Getting Her Own Show
July 29, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Marisa Zanuck made her Bravo debut on the third season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Having previously worked with Mauricio Umansky in the real estate business, Zanuck was added to the cast as a friend of Umansky’s wife, Kyle Richards. Shortly after the season wrapped, it was revealed that Zanuck wouldn’t return for the upcoming fourth season. However, she will soon be returning to television.
A source confirms to Hollywoodite exclusively that Zanuck will be starring in her own series about life as a working mommy. “The show will be based on her real estate business as well as her family,” the source states. In addition to Zanuck and her kids being on the show, her husband will also appear, as will her sisters who are now working for her.
Just last week, Zanuck tweeted, “In the office with the SISTERS, Leyla’s training Jordana and I am bored!!! I can not train anyone don’t have the patience!!” Judging by her tweet, her and her sisters have just recently started working together and that could amount to some drama for sure.
Following Zanuck’s Real Housewives departure, she released a statement and while it didn’t seem to mean much at the time, looking back, it looks like a hint that her upcoming show has been in pre-production for a while now.
“Housewives was a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful that Bravo gave me the opportunity to step into their crazy world,” Zanuck told Celebuzz. “I have no regrets and nothing but love for the amazing viewers that were so kind to take time out of their day and reach out to me on Twitter and comment on my blogs. We will definitely keep in touch.”
