ITW Uses “A Baby for Jennifer Aniston” Headline… No, She’s Not Pregnant

The new cover of In Touch Weekly is talking about Jennifer Aniston’s uterus again. It suggests that she’s pregnant. Like most weird tabloids are obsessed with her getting pregnant as though that would be her crowning achievement, but she’s not. It’s just another use of nebulous wording to get people to pick it up at the newsstand.

The cover says “Behind the buzz. A baby for Jen. The man of her dreams, years of fertility treatments, and now the world’s eyes are on the 44-year-old’s growing bump. Why they’re putting baby before the wedding.” First, there is no bump (the below is an unflattering outfit and Aniston’s incessant stroking of her own stomach). Second, there’s no credible source on the supposed fertility treatments so that probably never happened either.

Here’s a teaser for the story: After years of failed relationships and false starts, Jennifer Aniston’s dream of starting a family is finally feeling within reach. According to new reports, Jen has begun IVF treatments, and if all goes as planned, she’ll be pregnant by her 45th birthday on Feb. 11— if she’s not already. “She’s ready,” says an insider close to Jen and fiancé Justin Theroux, adding that the megastar will be “an amazing mom.”
