Ace Knute Johnson: Jessica Simpson Confirms Birth, Son’s Name Is Ace Knute Johnson

Jessica Simpson is one girl who seems to do it all. She has mastered being a singer, starring on reality TV, and starting her own fashion and cosmetics line. Now she can cross one more achievement off her list: being a mom of two!
After beginning a scandalous relationship with married Eric Johnson (former NFL player), Simpson is finally getting a happy ending with a growing family. Just one month after Johnson’s divorce, the two announced their engagement; one year later, they announced that they were pregnant with their first child. During her first pregnancy, Simpson also announced an endorsement deal to lose the baby weight through Weight Watchers. The couple was thrilled to welcome daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1st, 2012.
However, Simpson’s Weight Watchers plan was foiled when she found out she was pregnant a second time around- this time with a son. This pregnancy was different than what she expected from her first. She spoke of her difficulties on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, claiming that she was constantly exhausted and popping Tums for the nausea.
The worst is behind her now that the second child has arrived! Ace Knute Johnson was born via C-section on June 30th. His middle name comes from his great grandfather on his father’s side.
Simpson also spoke about plans of a wedding in the near future. According to Us Weekly, she told an insider: “Let’s have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another [baby]!”
From their quick engagement to their back-to-back pregnancies, this couple seems to waste no time moving forward with life. Best of luck to them!
