Watch Adele’s Full 60 Minutes Interview With Anderson Cooper

Here’s Adele’s full 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper which talks about her voice, the Grammys, her working class background, and her body image.

“I’ve never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like ‘I need to look like that to be a success.’ I don’t want to be some skinny mini with my t**s out. I really don’t want to do it and I don’t want people confusing what it is that I’m about. I just stand there and sing. I don’t do stunts or anything. I’m just writing love songs. I’m not trying to be pop. I’m not trying to be jazz. I’m not trying to be anything. I’m just writing love songs and everyone loves a love song.” – Adele on 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper.

Following the 60 Minutes Overtime teasers from the weekend, there’s a little more context to her piece although it becomes apparent there’s a lot of copy pasta of anecdotes between this and Adele’s interview with Vogue.

The interview appears to have aired just after news broke of Whitney Houston’s death so that forms the introduction by Cooper. You can skip to about 00:27 for Cooper’s introduction for Adele, which notes 21 is the most successful album since Houston’s soundrack for the movie The Bodyguard nearly two decades ago.
