Alexis Bellino Begged For RHoOC Job Back After Being Fired For Demanding Too Much Money?

Rumours that Alexis Bellino would be fired from the new season of Real Housewives of Orange County started in July, when Page Six said she was “vulnerable to being fired” along with Vicki Gunvalson. That was compounded in September when US Weekly said the same thing. And, a week later, Bellino issued a statement confirming she would no longer be on the show. E! News sources claimed, however, she didn’t quit of her own volition. Rather, she was fired for being a “diva.”
About a week ago, RumorFix.com claimed Bellino was back on the show. She reportedly starts filming for the new season today, ahead of which “Alexis’ husband, Jim, was seen at a high-end store asking to borrow an expensive purse for taping.” Sources also said she’s back, in part, because one of the two replacement housewives dropped out.
Yesterday, Rumour Fix’s sources confirmed “Alexis Bellino will be back this season in a much bigger way than originally thought.” As in, not just “filming exit scenes” as originally thought.
The sources explains: “Jim Edmonds, a former Major League Baseball center fielder, and his wife, Allison, were supposed to start taping for the new season, but at the last minute they backed out. Allison was going to be the new Housewife, according to an insider. Because of this, Alexis will now be returning as a full-time Housewife. The reality star was shooting scenes last week, which led to speculation that she was taping exit scenes, but we now know it’s much more than that. The source says some members of the cast are not happy that Alexis is coming back and do not want to film with her. ”
RadarOnline.com says there’s more to it than that, though. After the Edmonds backed out, Bellino took the opportunity to beg for her job back after being fired for demanding too much money, and being too demanding in general.
Alexis Bellino’s contract negotiating skills leave a lot to be desired, according to a new report.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star was nearly dropped by Bravo after demanding a bigger salary to appear on the hit reality TV show, Star magazine is exclusively reporting.
It left Alexis, 35, begging for her job, even after she threatened to quit the show to concentrate on motherhood.
The blonde bombshell was looking for a $100,000 pay hike to take her wages to $300,000 a-year. But, at the end of season 7, Bravo called her bluff and didn’t renew her contract. However, after Alexis realized that Bravo wasn’t going to give her a pay raise, she immediately pleaded with TV execs to give her another chance. Bravo accepted her pleas and signed her up on her current salary, but the reality star has now ruffled her cast mate’s feathers.
“The rest of the cast thinks she’s an egomaniac and are furious,” an insider said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Real Housewives co-star Tamra Barney took to her Twitter account to say that Alexis was originally lying about her reasons for quitting the show. Alexis claimed she was tired of the drama and booze-fueled cat fights and wanted to live a normal life. But Tamra cried [bull].
