Alexis Bellino Leaves Real Housewives Of Orange County: Did She Quit Or Was She Fired?

There are further casualties of the Real Housewives Of Orange County, following increasingly nasty comments made between cast mates on social networks, backstabbing, and threats of lawsuits when things go too far.

It was reported this summer that Vicki Gunvalson conspired to get co-star Alexis Bellino fired while pretending to be Bellino’s friend. Gunvalson denied it, of course, she would have. But several cast members confirmed that Gunvalson tried to bully the other women into writing letters imploring producers to fire Bellino. A few days prior to that report, Page Six claimed Gunvalson and Bellino were the “most vulnerable” to being fired. But only Bellino has left the show so far, according to sources for Us Weekly today.

It would appear that, rather than being fired for being a milquetoast Stepford Wife or being ousted by “friends,” Bellino quit of her own volition. Specifically, she quit because she was tired of being “bullied.” Here’s Us Weekly’s account of what happened, although it’s already been met with a non-denial from Bravo: ”We have not yet made any announcements about a season 8 pick up or casting.”

After three seasons on the reality hit, mom of three Bellino has decided to part ways with the program, a source tells Us Weekly.

“Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity,” the insider explains of Bellino’s decision to stop filming. Though she is said to have begun contract negotiations with Bravo, the former Housewife “wanted to go back to her simple life in Orange County.” – via Us Weekly Magazine.
