Alexis Bellino’s Business Partner Tal Sheyn Reportedly Thinks She’s An “Idiot” With “No Talent”

Alexis Bellino and a designer named Tal Sheyn teamed up years ago on a “couture” line of gowns which they named Alexis by Tal Sheyn. Also included in the line were tops and a few other pieces. Although the line wasn’t exactly a top collection by any means, it did well and is still selling online and in select retail stores. However, the partnership between Alexis and Tal doesn’t seem to be going too well.
In a recent Real Housewives of Orange County recap, the Jewish Journal’s Ilana Angel wrote an excerpt about a recent event she attended for the clothing line. At the fashion show for Alexis by Tal Sheyn, Ilana had the opportunity to interview Tal and during their chat, Ilana discovered that Tal isn’t exactly Team Alexis and seems to be more interested in the focus she brings to her business that the reality star herself.
“I went to an event for Alexis last week and it was interesting. Her publicist invited me and said if I came I could interview Alexis. I’m not really a fan of hers, but I think she is harmless so I agreed to come if I could also interview her fashion design partner Tal,” Ilana wrote. “Tal spent 20 minutes talking trash about Alexis. She threw her under the bus and then when she was under the wheels, she kicked her a few times.”
“[Tal] said nothing flattering about her, in fact, she spoke a lot of crap. Alexis has, according to Tal, nothing to do with the line, has no talent or taste when it comes to designing, and Tal does it for the money and exposure, and thinks Alexis is an idiot.”
After the blog had been posted and Tal got word of what Ilana had told readers, things took an unexpected turn. Ilana began receiving emails from Tal and her people, claiming that her words were taken out of context and threatening to take legal action against her. In response, Ilana has written a second blog.
“I got a couple of threatening emails from Tal saying in part: ‘I don’t understand why you would attack me this way in print when everything you wrote is incorrect and offensive to me and my business. You kept harassing me about why I am working with Alexis since she is Christian. I repeatedly answered you politely. Call before this becomes a nightmare. Call me before we take matters in our own hand and pursue another avenue by tomorrow.’”
“They said I was causing distress to her pregnancy. They said I misunderstood Tal because of her accent. They said Tal was not articulate due to being pregnant,” Ilana reveals. “[Tal] is Israeli with a thick accent, but I am also Israeli and my mother’s accent is thicker than Tal’s, so there was no miscommunication. We spoke for about 20 minutes and understood each other. To be very clear, there was no language barrier.”
For the record, Ilana claims to have the insults made by Tal against Alexis on tape. So, it doesn’t look like Tal and her people have much of a leg to stand on.
