Amanda Bynes Arrested For Possession of Marijuana, Taken for Psychiatric Evaluation

Amanda Bynes’ antics have official escalated to a whole new level. According to E! News, the former child star was arrested late Thursday night. The reason? Throwing a bong out of her apartment window.
The police responded to a call by Bynes’ doorman in her New York City apartment building at around 8 p.m., E! reports. The doorman said Bynes had been smoking pot in the lobby, acting erratically, and talking to herself. She had returned to her room by the time the cops arrived.
The police then made their way to Bynes’ apartment where, when they opened the door, they allegedly saw a bong in the background. Reports then state Bynes threw it out the window (of the 36th floor, no less). Disposing of evidence, Amanda? Definitely not cool.
Photos taken outside Bynes’ apartment building show her with her head down and a long blonde wig covering her face. Upon closer examination, not only are her hands cuffed but so are her ankles.
Before Bynes was taken to Manhattan Central Booking for processing, she was charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana. She was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for psychiatric evaluation. She subsequently spent the night in a holding cell at night court and is expected to appear in front of a judge Friday morning.
