Amanda Bynes Blames Media For Recent Bad Press!

Surprise, surprise… another celebrity blaming the media instead of taking responsibility for their own actions when they receive bad press. This time it’s Amanda Bynes, the former Nickelodeon actress who has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Bynes took to Twitter to not only slam blogs and magazines for claiming she is mentally ill, but also to reveal she has been battling an eating disorder. Based on her tweets, it appears she believes the press is more concerned about her weight as opposed to her bizarre behaviour.

She claims: ”I’m suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I’ve gained weight then write a fake story! I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.”

Despite Bynes drastically changing her appearance by wearing bizarre wigs and excessive make up, she blames the press for using bad photos of her. ”They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose,” she wrote. “They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo.”

In an attempt to control how the media write stories about her, she also demanded that media outlets only use pictures from her twitter. ”Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me.” she says.

If that weren’t enough, she ended by making one final statement in which she discouraged fans from believing what the media writes about her. ”I don’t read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They’re fake! Don’t trust what u read on sites!”

Unfortunately for Bynes, this outburst probably did nothing to dispel the bad press she is concerned about, and rather add to the list of bizarre behaviour that she has recently become known for.
