Amanda Bynes Discussing Record Deal While Still in Psych Ward

Consider this multitasking at its finest.

It is common knowledge in the Hollywood world that Amanda Bynes has been hospitalized for an indefinite amount of time at UCLA’s psych ward. However, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported today that the 27-year-old actress is currently in talks with a record company. Daniel Herman of Chinga Chang Records confided to Radar that he has been in contact with Bynes a few times since she has been in the psych ward, and has even raised the record offer to a whopping $250,000.

“I’ve talked with Amanda a few times and she wants out. She sounded normal, lucid, chill and focused,” Herman told Radar. “Part of hip hop is not only struggling, but how one gets out of them. And that is what makes great music!” he also said. Well, Herman is clearly confident in Bynes’ capabilities to flourish as a rapper after her current crisis. At least someone has some hope in her. Herman has to get through to Lynn Bynes, the actress’s mother, first to make some moves, as Lynn has been granted temporary conservatorship over Amanda. The more power to you, Herman.

Herman also told Radar that he is confident that Amanda can get through this everlasting battle with herself “outside of a treatment center”; in fact, he is “willing to do anything in [his] power to make that a reality…even fund it.” That’s some kind of wonderful, isn’t it?

What do you think about Amanda’s future chance as a rapper? Will she able to be successful outside of a psych ward? Should she stay in there as long as possible? Comment what you think below.
