Amanda Bynes has been released from rehab

Amanda Bynes is finally on the road to recovery. The 27-year-old actress has been released from the rehab facility in which she has been receiving treatment for her schizophrenic and bipolar conditions.

According to recent reports, Amanda has completed inpatient treatment and is recovering in her parents’ Los Angeles home. Her mother, Lynn, will have control over Amanda for the indefinite future including her daughter’s treatment and finances.

“Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” her lawyer, Tamar Arminak, tells PEOPLE. “Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.”

“She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design,” the statement says. “She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”

The statement continues, “Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”

A source tells RadarOnline, ”Amanda was released in the last several days, into the custody of her mother, Lynn. Amanda is doing very well, in fact, she is doing great.”

“If Amanda needs to get further inpatient treatment, she will,” the insider added. “The plan is for Amanda to continue to see her doctors and adjust back to living her life. It will be very controlled and supervised.”
