Amanda Bynes Is Delusional About Her Downward Spiral; Is Happy To Be Getting Press

Amanda Bynes is basically Lindsay Lohan Lite these days, with comparable scrapes with the law that amount to nothing and bizarre behaviour that’s resulted in losing their homes, careers, and reputations.

Lohan’s got more arrests and appearances in court than credits on her IMDb and her money mismanagement and legal trouble cost Lohan’s home. Bynes has been getting into similar back-to-back hit-and-runs and fleeing the scene and her drug-addled behaviour reportedly got Bynes kicked out of her apartment.

According to a new report, like Lohan, Bynes subscribes to the adage “all publicity is good publicity” including reports about her alleged drug use and deteriorating mental state because she’s just happy people are talking about her again.

“Amanda has absolutely no idea about the reputation she’s getting for all of her weird behavior,” the pal tells Radar. “In fact, when she got her DUI and those hit-and-run allegations all she talked about was the publicity she was finally getting!”

According to the source, Amanda, 26, doesn’t feel like she’s acting out of sorts at all, and she has no idea how worried friends and family are for her.

“Amanda’s just totally out of it lately, and any efforts by friends or family to help get her back on track go in one ear and out the other,” the source tells Radar. “She’s completely secluded herself, and she’s just living in her own little world with her only communication to the outside world through Instagram photos and Twitter!”

On Sunday, the California native posted a virtually unrecognizable photo of herself with long, curly dirty blonde hair topped with a red beanie and her new cheek piercing.

“Amanda will continue on this path because she doesn’t think anything is wrong,” the pal concludes. – via RadarOnline.
