Amanda Bynes: I’m Not Lindsay Lohan, I’m Not A Cracked-Out Thief

Sources claim that Amanda Bynes is not happy with the Lindsay Lohan comparisons.
Over the past few weeks, even before the birthday celebration that resulted in a DUI, people were whispering about Bynes’ behaviour.
Bynes’ father denies that his daughter drinks at all. However, there are videos taken weeks apart of Bynes being carried out of clubs. So it’s safe to assume that she does drink. Sources close to the 26-year-old reportedly want her to enter rehab. Although Bynes is reportedly indignant. And now RadarOnline.com sources say Bynes is butthurt over the Lohan comparisons. Because Bynes is yet to steal for coke money.
“Amanda thinks its extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan,” a source close to the actress says.
“Comparisons between the two are just ridiculous as Amanda has never been arrested for drug possession or for stealing anything. Yes, she got arrested for a DUI, but that doesn’t mean that she is headed down the same road as Lindsay.”
“Amanda doesn’t harbor any negative feelings towards Lindsay, she doesn’t even know her, she just thinks it’s sexist that the two are being compared. Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUI’s don’t face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda. She isn’t taking the DUI arrest lightly.” – via RadarOnline.
In actual Lohan news, it’s claimed that the 25-year-old has not signed a contract for Lifetime’s Liz & Dick movie. After all the shilling, and the rushing through probation, Lohan hasn’t sealed the biopic deal. A source (probably Lohan’s rep) tells RadarOnline it’s a technicality, not because of production fears that she’ll flounder again: “Lindsay hasn’t signed the contract yet. But, it’s only a matter of time before she does, it’s just a matter of dotting the ‘I’s and crossing the ‘T’s.”
In other Lohan news, Marisa Dugas, the woman who claims to have been assaulted at The Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, won’t sue but she does want an apology. Specifically, a public apology: ”My client… just wants Lindsay Lohan to publicly apologize to her for the assault, and be held responsible for her actions. I can definitively tell you that [my client] has absolutely no plans to sue Lindsay Lohan,” says attorney Mark Haushalter. “Lindsay should be treated just like everyone else and not get any special treatment because she is a celebrity. Lindsay Lohan needs to stop lying about where she really was that night and grow up.”
