Amanda Bynes: Friends & Managers Want Her In Rehab, She Says No

This is going from bad to worse in Lohan time. As in, just as Miley Cyrus is exhibiting some sub-Britney Spears behaviours in what one can only surmise is a downward spiral, Amanda Bynes is spiraling sub-Lindsay Lohan.
Bynes had a rough April, thus far, with an alleged DUI (during which she allegedly swiped a police car). At which time outlets like TMZ.com remembered “Oh, yeah” and dug up several videos of Bynes being carried out of clubs and seemingly driving drunk. Soon after the DUI, Bynes was photographed texting while driving and mounting the curb with her back tyre.
And now sources from Bynes’ camp appear to be anonymously trying to get her help. That is, Page Six and RadarOnline.com this weekend have source accounts of Bynes’ problems. And both suggest Bynes should enter rehab.
The 26-year-old appears to have some kind of issues with drink, although it’s not clear what. It appears to be an enabler issue, with permissive friend watching her drive drunk and a father who lied to People Magazine about his daughter’s sobriety. And it appears to be a judgement issue, as in she doesn’t have any.
A source told P6: “She is not the same girl as she was a year ago. She is just doing whatever she wants to. do. Friends are concerned because she is not the Amanda they know.”
Another source tells RadarOnline: “Amanda has been in a downward spiral for the last six months. Even though her dad publicly said she doesn’t drink, he knows she has a problem. It’s truly sad to witness. Amanda has been told she must go to rehab, but she is refusing.”
