Amish Mafia’s Alvin Lantz Real Mug Shot Photo: What Were His Crimes? How Old Is He?

January 15, 2013 by Hollywoodite

Last week, the real names, crimes, and personal lives of the cast of Amish Mafia were revealed. At which time viewers learned of the ages, histories, and rap sheets of the cast as juxtaposed with the fabrications, obfuscations, and exaggerations broadcast by Discovery. Moreover, although the arrest dates and locations broadcast during Amish Mafia can mostly be corroborated by public record, the actual crimes are far less-violent than producers would have us believe. For the most part, the cast is a bunch of rowdy drunk-drivers and nothing more.

In the case of Alvin Lantz, it was revealed last week that he had been charged with “DUI and fleeing police.”

And with the revealing of his full name, it’s been easy for readers of this site to find public record of his arrest and his real mug shot. Proving that, not only did Discovery use the name of a nonexistent police station on the rap sheet they aired, but they used fake mug shots too.

Lantz’s rap sheet reveals his age, and his crimes, and the information is listed as follows thanks to a helpful reader, J.

* Alvin Lantz is 30-years-old, born September 9, 1982. His rap sheet gives a Pennsylvania home address.

* His occupation is listed as “Construction” (Waters construction). Incidentally, Lebanon Levi owns a construction business in PA.

UPDATE 3/4/13: LancasterOnline.com reports: “Alvin Stoltfus Lantz, 30, has pleaded no contest to DUI charges in Sarasota, Fla. He lost his driver’s license for six months and was ordered to pay a $500 fine. He’s on probation for a year.” HeraldTribune.com adds: “According to the arrest report, Lantz was driving southbound on North Washington Boulevard around 12:50 a.m. Nov. 30, when Sarasota County Deputy Ayers captured his vehicle’s speed on radar at 56 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. The deputy turned and caught up to Lantz, who was then driving between 70-80 mph in a posted 45 mph zone… Lantz, according to the arrest report, failed several field sobriety exercises.
