PHOTOS Amish Mafia Spoilers Revealed As Cast Film Second Season In Lancaster, PA

May 13, 2013 by Hollywoodite

Amish Mafia is currently filming its second season in Lancaster, PA with what appears to be almost all of the original cast (with the possible exception of Jolin Zimmerman and with the addition of Caleb Clark).

A few weeks ago, John Freeman Schmucker’s lawyer Steve Breit confirmed to LancasterOnline.com that the second season had begun filming. Breit has subsequently released photos of himself and Schmucker around Lancaster that would appear to suggest Schmucker’s current legal problems will be heavily featured on the second season.

Also, the same local residents who were not thrilled with the misdirection and lies told about the nonexistent Amish Mafia during the first season are having to watch the whole thing unfold again for the second. According to locals, filming has been going on since late-January.  And here are more spoilers from people observing the staged scenes on the show.

Most recently, show characters were seen constructing a chicken coop at a farm on Route 741 in Paradise Township, by the Strasburg Rail Road tracks.

And then there is the ongoing legal saga of John F. Schmucker, who has made multiple recent court appearances on minor charges and citations.

A film crew seems to have followed Schmucker at every turn, including a March 22 hearing at district court in Columbia and an April 24 hearing in Millersville. Prior to that, filming was done during an office consultation with attorney Steven Breit.

Schmucker, known simply as “John” on the show, was portrayed in Season One as Levi’s sidekick. He is the real-life brother of Esther Schmucker, also a character on the show as love interest of Levi. Esther also has been spotted on film sets in recent months.

Other filming details reported by locals include:

* A film crew and “Amish” actors were spotted at an East Lampeter beer distributor.

* A party was staged near Strasburg with some local “English” being offered parts as extras.

* Two New Holland sites: a vacant apartment building at Grant Street and Brimmer Avenue and at New Holland Sales Stables. – via Lancaster Online.

Since Esther Freeman Schmucker is mentioned, it should be noted that she’s been in an on-off relationship with a guy called Amir Rashon Williams since December 2012 so any long-term “romance” that’s portrayed with “Lebanon” Levi Stoltzfus is almost certainly fake. Also, any parties featured on the show are almost certainly fake.

In addition to locals watching Stoltzfus filming in the street, there’s another photo from the set taken by actor and producer Alan Beiler who is masquerading a regular Joe on the show. In a photo from what appears to be his official Facebook fan page, Beiler shared a photo of himself and Merlin Miller with the caption “looking for Levi.”
