Report: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt “Have No Plans” To Marry This Year

This is pretty much just a game of whose is bigger between Us Weekly, who ran an “exclusive” about this year’s supposed wedding of Brad Pitt to Angelina Jolie, and People, who claim there will be no wedding. So, it’s going to come down to whom you believe and what’s evident – they’ll be married by year’s end or not, being that the state of marriage is absolute, you aren’t “sort of married.”

Yesterday, Us Weekly’s creative fiction department claimed to have “multiple sources” who were sure a wedding was being planned. From the first line of their report, the whole thing was supposition and thinly-veiled guesswork masquerading as fact. “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning a wedding set to take place within the next few months, three separate sources confirm,’ claimed the magazine. Only to immediately begin the conjecture to pad their story. Well, in reaction, People gleefully try to discredit that story with their own “multiple sources.”

People claim their information points to no wedding. With insiders claiming rumours are “False,” and “There is no evidence nor any single truth” to recent published reports.

If nothing else, Us Weekly is known for getting their couple-based cover stories wrong. They’re forever pairing up people who’ve never met and splitting up couples who are, evidently, still together. In the worst case scenarios, it would appear they’re either telling lies or pulling names out of a hat. People is far less-inclined to get this stuff wrong. They’re right about couples more often than not. So, for now, let’s say there’s no wedding.
