Report: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt May Marry Within Months

It’s being reported by Us Weekly, who are all the more excitable when this kind of thing makes for a good cover story, that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might marry within months.
Hmm. This rumour is weirdly unending and has been going around, with different sources who “confirm” the news, since around 2007. Maybe before that; heck, when they first got together and the only cries louder than “Home-wrecker” were the cries of “Whatever, marry so we can look at pretty pictures!” People can’t seem to decide whether they’re marrying and whether it would even impact their relationship after six years and parenting six children together.
Well, Us Weekly is flogging this dead horse so OK! can take the week off. It’s only right to address the rumour so the unbroken record of “confirming” this once-weekly remains as such. The magazine claims to have multiple sources – sources who’re beyond guessing relationship statuses at times – who confirm the couple’s intentions to marry. Three sources, is how many Us claim have details about the supposed wedding plans for the ceremony that’s reportedly taking place this year. The magazine then fills the rest of the pages of its cover story with more overt suppositions’ like “The “I do’s” could take place at their newly renovated Chateau Miraval in Correns, France (conveniently featuring a 16th-century chapel).”
There’s further speculation that the “intimate and informal” ceremony may be at the behest of their childre, since Pitt already partially admitted as much. ”The kids ask about marriage,” Pitt told USA Today in May of Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3. “It’s meaning more and more to them.”
