Prank Or Viral Video? Actor Angus T. Jones Tells People Not To Watch Two and a Half Men!
In what smells like a prank because its views are so out-of-nowhere extreme and better suited to someone like Kirk Cameron, Angus T. Jones, the highest paid child actor ever who earned $350,000-per-episode on Two and a Half Men, says it’s “filth” and against his reaffirmed religious ideals.
In a video where he cannot keep a straight face nor look at the camera for periods of time, which is either derision or because it’s a hoax (it’s not clear at this point whether it’s a contrived attempt at going viral), Jones offers a testimonial for Forerunner Christian Church and the Seventh-day Adventist movement and its impact on his life. This basically amounts to looking to his mentor (the bald guy) for reassurance that he’s saying the right thing which is what little kids (toddlers, for example) do when they’re parroting other people’s ideas rather than thinking for themselves.
Whatever’s going on with this video and its hypocritical condemnation of the show that continues to make him rich, Jones says from about 7:43 in the video: “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men… I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth.”
He dismisses television in general and continues, “Do some research on the effects of television and your brain. I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television.”
