Angus T. Jones Replaced on Two and a Half Men by Female Character

Angus T. Jones–or the “half” in Two and a Half Men–is departing the series following last year’s rant to Christian group Forerunner Chronicle during which he called the show “filth.”

Jones went on to film the rest of the season and apologized, but knew he couldn’t stay on the show any longer. His character is leaving for college and he has said that he might come back to guest star in the future.

Two and a Half Men has had a rotating door for its cast over the past couple of years. Charlie Sheen infamously left in 2011 after his rants about the show and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher. Now with Jones’ departure, Jon Cryer is the only original cast member left.

Although… the show, which no longer features the amount of men in its title, refuses to end after its 10th season. Deadline.com reports that a new female character will replace Jones, she will be in her late teens to early 20s and she’ll claim to be the daughter of the deceased Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen). This new character has not been cast yet, but will live with the two men in the 11th season.
