First Photo Of Anne Hathaway Wearing Catwoman Costume

Anne Hathaway’s casting as Catwoman has been met with a mixed reaction. She has the skill as an actress to pull off most roles. The concern seemed to be her natural charisma and the sex appeal required to pull off this role. Effectively, the TDK trilogy by Chris Nolan is a reboot. So, she could take the role and make of it what she may. However, people really have fixed ideas about how the character should be portrayed… and approachable, cute, and girl next door bookish isn’t it. Hathaway just seems to not tick enough of the boxes. It’s going to be interesting to see how she deals with this in the media. The press is already speculating about it and opining out loud whether this will better Halle Berry’s titular portrayal.

Released by the studio, the below promotional photo comes the day after Hathway was spotted walking around on set in her own clothes and the day she/ a stunt-double was photographed on the tumbler-bike thing in full costume. So, yeah, this would appear to be part of the costume. Hopefully, it’s not the better part of the catsuit. It’s beyond basic, cheap and underwhelming if it is.
