Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Were Unhappy, The Fighting Was “Intense”

There are several reports from this weekend, leading up to Wednesday’s tabloid cover war, as everyone’s trying to get the scoop on what went wrong in Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s marriage. As though wandering spouses isn’t enough of a reason. Everyone’s sources are frantically BBMing all the details, because suddenly everyone knows the inner workings of this marriage.

Moore’s given the green light for some of the smack-talking, with her split statement. And the sources aren’t disappointing. Starting with People’s sources (and later moving on to Us Weekly and RadarOnline.com), it’s claimed the couple had been unhappy for a while.

“Ashton is unhappy; [Demi]‘s unhappy,” a source tells People. “It just got to a point where they had to end it.”

“The fighting could get pretty intense,” an additional source says of Kutcher, 33, and Moore, 49. “Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix but could not get to the heart of the problem.” – via People.

So the fighting went beyond Kutcher’s alleged cheating on Moore two years in a row. And the real goal of their counselling was to diffuse this tension. That could be why counselling only went on for around six weeks, once-a-week.

Moreover, Moore was allegedly sleeping with women too and the couple reportedly enjoyed an open marriage until Kutcher got sloppy and slept with random co-eds without his wife’s permission.
