Audrina Patridge To Host NBC’s First Look
September 30, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Audrina Patridge has just landed her first major hosting gig with NBC. The former Hills star will be hosting the network’s travel show First Look, a series which explores the country, searching for the most noteworthy restaurants, nightlife spots, and other destinations.
“It’s one of my dream jobs because I love doing different adventures, and I have a passion for trying just about anything, which fits what this show is about,” Audrina reveals to The Hollywood Reporter. “I get to bring the audience with me on this journey, and I can’t wait.”
Throughout her travels, Audrina will be learning about circus training as well as the exercise program for Olypmians. In another episode, Audrina goes behind the scenes of the Golden Globes. ”It’s an all-access pass — everything from movie production to the best dresses to makeup,” Audrina explains of the episode.
“I’ll also be going to amazing restaurants that no one has ever really heard of and get to experience how to cook certain things with the chefs,” she continues. “The show covers pretty much the whole range [of travel-themed topics]. There’s so much to offer for everyone. We’ll be visiting some places that I never even knew existed in this country. It really opens the door for everyone to try new things.”
“Audrina is the ideal fit for 1st Look with her captivating presence and up-for-anything attitude,” Marni Sabia, VP of lifestyle production at NBC Owned Television Stations, adds. “Her passion for adventure, and her enthusiasm are sure to catch the attention of our viewers every week as she takes on the experiences they want to see.”
Audrina replaces the First Look’s former host, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, in January as Ali moves to E! where she was just hired as a full-time news corespondent.
