Bachelor Host Chris Harrison Is Dating Show Alumna Selma Alameri (UPDATE: Selma Issues Denial!)

Chris Harrison and Selma Alameri are reportedly Bachelor Nation’s newest couple.
If you are a fan of The Bachelor, or reality TV in general, you know how exciting it is to see two stars collide and this pairing is extra special since Chris is the host of the show on which they both starred.
Chris, 42, and Selma, 29, who starred on Bachelor season 17, reportedly debuted this new relationship during a visit to Pearl’s Liquor Bar in Los Angeles on Thursday night where an eyewitness claims they were more than a little touchy-feely.
“Chris was introducing Selma as his girlfriend,” the source tells Life & Style. “They were very cute together and not taking their hands off each other.”
For Selma, Chris isn’t the first romance she’s found among co-stars. In addition to falling for Sean Lowe during his season of The Bachelor, Selma has also dated Arie Luyendyk Jr., the runner-up on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette.
Last year, after 18 years of marriage and two children, Chris and his wife Gwen announced that they had separated. Although Chris has dated and been linked to a handful of women since then, including Justin Bieber’s mom, Selma is the only woman he has called his girlfriend.
Following his split, it was rumored that Chris could possibly be the next Bachelor, but he quickly shot down the report. “Having just announced my divorce to the world…having two kids and trying to start a new life, I’m thinking I wouldn’t exactly be a great candidate to be the bachelor right now or probably any time soon,” he told Us Weekly at the time. “I’ve learned so much about just myself, life, love over the years. I’m a lot more patient, a lot more understanding. Now having felt heartbreak, I know what these people have gone through and what they’re searching for. Everybody wants love; everybody wants companionship and that’s what makes this show so simple but so genius.”
UPDATE: A few days after Life & Style published the story, Selma told GossipCop, “It’s a completely inaccurate rumor.”
