Bachelorette Star DeAnna Pappas And Husband Stephen Stagliano Are Expecting Their First Child — See Her Baby Bump
DeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano are expecting their first child. The couple, who met through Stephen’s twin brother Michael Stagliano, had been trying to conceive for a year and on Wednesday, announced that DeAnna is currently 17 weeks pregnant.
“We are so very excited!” DeAnna tells People Magazine of her happy news. “We had been trying for almost a year; we wanted this so badly. The baby is due Feb. 8 and Stephen’s birthday is Feb. 4. I told him all he’s getting for his birthday this year is a baby!”
Last night, following her People announcement, DeAnna took to Twitter where she told fans, “I’m overwhelmed with love and joy tonight. Thank you all for making an old gal feel special! We can’t wait to welcome #BabyStag.”
Stephen also tweeted about his happy news. “Oh yeah!!! Gonna be a daddy…Yeah,” he wrote. “My wife @DeAnnaPappas is even more beautiful pregnant!”
DeAnna first entered the Bachelor world as a contestant on Brad Womack’s season. After getting sent home just before the final rose, DeAnna went on to become the next year’s Bachelorette where she met and fell in love with Jesse Csincsak. Although things between them ended after just months, DeAnna’s ties in the Bachelor world eventually led to her Stephen.
In August 2010, Stephen proposed to DeAnna and the two tied the knot one year later in their home state of Georgia.
