Backstreet Boys Do The Harlem Shake… Including The Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) Dance

1990′s kids who found NSync too saccharin probably preferred Backstreet Boys and will be VERY pleased about a video that went viral this weekend.

The boys, who’ve been together since at least 1992 when youngest member Nick Carter was only 12-years-old, have reformed as a man-band and toured with their 80s predecessors New Kids on the Block. Incidentally, BSB’s Brian Littrell told TMZ.com last year, NSync was literally intended to be a copy of BSB with Justin Timberlake telling him in person the first time they met in the 90s, “I got you down.”

This weekend, the guys followed the lead of The Simpsons and YouTube.com itself (type “Do the Harlem Shake” into YouTube and wait a second) by doing a Harlem Shake video captioned “Decided we needed to do a Harlem Shake video! Better late than never, right?” Complete with the dance break from Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) which is also below.
