Is Bad Girls Club Season Nine’s Mehgan James Racist Against The Other Housemates?

Mehgan James is one of Bad Girls Club season nine’s standout cast members for claiming to be Barack Obama’s stepdaughter and for making racially-loaded remarks about everyone in the house.
In the season nine premiere, Mehgan introduced herself and immediately asked the other girls about their racial backgrounds. Informed Erika Jordan is also Black, Mehgan proclaimed the two, as the only Black girls in the house, would be firm friends. Mehgan suggested that she could not be close friends with a girl whom she found to be “ugly,” nor a girl who isn’t Black, nor a girl is the “wrong kind” of Black girl.
Moreover, in episode five, Mehgan commented on the arrival of a replacement girl. As she looked at the new girl’s photo, Mehgan exclaimed: “While I’m looking at the new girl’s picture, I’m looking at her weave, her dress, and her shoes. And I’m like, ugh, she’s Black… You guys know how I feel about ghetto b**ches… I kind of wish that she was cuter because, like, this cast is getting uglier by the day. It’s just sad.”
That’s a direct quote. At several other points in episode five, Mehgan commented on the new girl’s appearance. Declaring Andrea Jones too “ghetto” to be friends with.
Do you think Mehgan is out of line by commenting so often about people’s race? Is she racist?
