Basketball Wives: LA’s Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo & Brooke Bailey Fired
Basketball Wives: LA has fired four of its six main cast members, according to reports this weekend.
According to TMZ.com, Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo, and Brooke Bailey were let go because they weren’t allowing “all of their reality to be filmed.”
Gloria Govan was the worst offender. She got married in Las Vegas, at the end of September, to Los Angeles Clippers player Matt Barnes, without inviting producers or telling them what she was planning. Which does defeat the point of filming a reality show.
Apparently, the firings leaked online before the women were warned by producers. Draya Michele and Jackie Christie are the only remaining cast members.
In semi-related news, Tami Roman from Basketball Wives proper went to the gym, lost 25 pounds, then got paid six-figures to give the credit to a weight loss company.
