Basketball Wives Reunion Cancelled: Evelyn Lozada Doesn’t Want To Talk About Divorce
It’s been over a year since Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson headbutted new wife Evelyn Lozada so hard he split her forehead open. He was arrested, their reality show spin-off was cancelled, he lost his job, and they got a divorce.
The divorce has, obviously, become a major plotline on Basketball Wives. Apparently, that’s a double-edged sword. It’s bringing in the viewers, however, without the divorce storyline, there’s nothing else going on this season.
Moreover, there’s so little else going on there won’t even be a reunion show this year.
TMZ.com is reporting, Evelyn found out the reunion was going to be heavily based around the divorce and she’s over talking about it.
Reportedly, the show was supposed to begin taping earlier this month but Evelyn bailed and refused to participate. So the other wives don’t get to film either.
Don’t count on seeing a new “Basketball Wives” reunion show any time soon … the Season 5 reunion special has been canceled because Evelyn Lozada pulled out.

According to sources, Evelyn jumped ship because she’s sick and tired of talking about her split from ex-husband Chad Johnson. We’re told she knew the break-up would be the biggest topic on the reunion show, so she refused to participate.
Apparently, the other 4 ‘Wives’ have zilch to talk about — we’re told producers felt there wouldn’t be enough material for the hour-long episode sans Ev.
Sources tell us, Evelyn has grown tired of the cattiness on ‘BW’ and wants to move on with her life. – via TMZ.
