Below Deck’s C.J. Lebeau was arrested in Arizona yesterday and charged with assault and damaging property after getting into an altercation with his fiancée. According to reports, LeBeau and his fiancée engaged in a dispute on Sunday night which quickly turned physical and led to the police being called.
TMZ reports that during the fight, Lebeau allegedly attempted to choke his fiancée. In return, she hit him, scratching his face and leaving a small scratch. At some point, Lebeau also “took her to the ground” and broke her cell phone which is listed as a “below $250″ charge of defacing property.
Lebeau, who works on the new Bravo series as a marine engineer, has a history of Arizona-based mischief. The reality star was also arrested back in March and charged with marijuana possession.
On Bravo’s official website, Lebeau is listed as a 32-year-old business major from San Diego with a passion for the high seas and, ironically, a rebellious side. His cast bio reads, ”This coastal Californian native, who serves as marine engineer aboard ‘Honor,’ likes to explore the nightlife while in port and tries hard not to get into too much trouble. LeBeau gets out of most sticky situations with his witty flirtation and likable personality.”
While his funny flirting may be enough to get Lebeau out of some situations, he’s going to need to do more than bat his eyelashes in this case.
Currently, Lebeau remains in custody in Arizona where he will likely stay until he is seen by a judge later this week.
