Bethenny Frankel’s Divorce Affects Upcoming Talk Show
Since Bethenny Frankel and estranged husband Jason Hoppy filed for divorce in January, it has been a rough ride for these two. No one would ever suspect the couple would end up in so much trouble after their sweet televised wedding on Bethenny Getting Married? and the first season of their married life in Bethenny Ever After. However, subsequent seasons began to reveal an imbalance in their marriage. Bethenny seemed to have more financial power with a rapidly growing business and an upcoming talk show. In January 2013, the couple filed for divorce, less than three years after their wedding.
The worst of it is, Bethenny (her new talk show scheduled to air in September) is still suffering. With segments being filmed in her current residence and Jason still living at home, there has been tension. Radar Online reported that Jason has “forbidden Frankel from having their daughter, Bryn, appear on her new talk show.” Perez Hilton reported from an unknown source that, during filming, “Jason tried to stop the taping. He freaked out and snapped at everybody. Bethenny had to move the shoot to her bedroom. He’s trying to make her life miserable.”
Fortunately, Bethenny has been surrounded by the love and support of her friends. The reality TV star recently tweeted, “When i connect with my girlfriends, i realize we’re all hanging on by a thread: sick children, marriage stress, finances, etc”. Keep hanging on, Bethenny! Maybe the premiere and future success of her new talk show will distract her from trouble at home.
